Paramita Majumdar a young versatile singer of Hindustani Light Classical Music hails from a musical family. She had her musical training from childhood from her grandfather Late Sangeet achariya Siddheshwar Mukhopadhyay, who was an institution of music in himself and from her mother Smt. Krishna Majumdar, a renowned Nazrulgeeti and Light Classical singer. She also had her training from Pt. Arun Bhaduri and Pt. Aloke Chattopadhyay in Classical Music. <br />This music is directed by her mother Smt.
